YEREVAN, AUGUST 24, ARMENPRESS. The President of the Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, received the representatives of European Commission for Democracy through Law - Venice Commission.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the Department of Information and Mass Media of the Presidential Staff of the Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan expressed gratitude for the high quality professional support of this prominent international institution in the elaboration of the draft Constitutional reforms of the Republic of Armenia. He highlighted the role of the institution in legal reforms of the country. It was emphasized during the meeting that there are no principal disagreements over the draft. The sides exchanged ideas over contemporary Constitutional developments, as well as democratic innovations included in the draft Constitution of the Republic of Armenia.
