Nairit employees will go on demanding to restart the factory
YEREVAN, AUGUST 5, ARMENPRESS. Nairit employees’ further actions are dependent upon September parliamentary hearings at National Assembly on “Nairit” issues.
Armenpress reports that the abovesaid was noted by Anush Harutyunyan - the former press secretary of “Nairit” factory - in her interview with the journalists.
Anush Harutyunyan noted that after they succeeded in receiving their salaries, they would go on with their struggle demanding to restart the factory. She also said that a chemical plant specialist has no other choice of a job.
In autumn parliamentary hearings will be held at National Assembly on “Nairit” issues. The latter was announced on July 28 by Vardan Ayvazyan, the head of Standing Committee on Economic Affairs of Armenia
Nairit labor union head Hrach Tadevosyan announced that 1700 people had been dismissed from their jobs. Currently the factory has 500 employees that are security officers.
The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia paid the salaries to over 2400 employees on August 4. The debt formed about 12-13 million dollars.
