YEREVAN, AUGUST 3, ARMENPRESS. The circumstances of the 30 year old woman’s suicide attempt at the Kievyan Bridge are being investigated. Armen Malkhasyan, employee of the Department of Public Relations and Information of the Police of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress on the aforementioned. The woman threatened to jump off the bridge, demanding a meeting with the Chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia Vladimir Gasparyan. The motives for suicide attempt are not known.

The woman came to the bridge with children. According to the information provided by emergency ambulance the health condition of the children is good and there’s no need of transferring them to hospital. Thanks to Ashot Karapetyan’s efforts - Chief of Police of Yerevan - the woman was saved.
