YEREVAN, JULY 30, ARMENPRESS. The Government of the Republic of Armenia allocated 1 billion 200 million drams to the Ministry of Transport and Communications for the implementation of the second stage of the Vardenis-Martakert highway construction works to transfer it to the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund. Armenpress reports that the Prime Minister of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan highlighted the implementation of the project.

“This is a very important project. It is important especially for the security of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic”, - said the PM.

The money was allocated from the reserve fund of the Government of the Republic of Armenia. The Vardenis-Martakert highway, built due to the funds, provided by the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, is intended to put to exploitation by the end of the year or the early 2016, depending on the weather conditions.
