YEREVAN, JULY 29, ARMENPRESS. Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan met with Traian Hristea, the Ambassador of the European Union to Armenia, who completes his diplomatic mission to our country. Armenpress was informed from the Information and Public Relations Department of Yerevan Municipality, that Taron Margaryan thanked the ambassador for his cooperation saying that it was, indeed, effective and successful.

The Mayor noted:

“We really attach importance to deepening the cooperation with the European Union in various directions. Mr. Ambassador, I must note that with your immediate support our joint projects have been successful and effective. The projects financed by EU give a possibility of acquiring new partners and exchanging of experience. So we expect the European Union’s support on our new undertakings too.”

Traian Hristea, the ambassador of the European Union to Armenia, thanked for the warm reception and noted that Yerevan Municipality is a reliable partner. He also expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation realized in the recent years noting that it was mutually successful.

At the end of the meeting Taron Margaryan wished good luck to Traian Hristea in his future working activities. The Mayor also ensured that the cooperation between the office of the EU Delegation to Armenia and Yerevan Municipality will be continuous.
