YEREVAN, JULY 29, ARMENPRESS: UWC Dilijan College became International Property Awards 2015 laureate in Public Services Development category. Armenpress reports, citing the PR Department of Initiatives for Development of Armenia (IDeA) Foundation that the assessment was carried out based on several parameters – quality of construction, development of infrastructure of the complex, location, architectural and planning solutions, as well as “green” technologies. The experts paid special attention to the architectural concept of the objects – only projects blending in aesthetic beauty and functionality can get high assessment.

The solemn awards ceremony will be held in London on September 22, 2015. There are three winners in each category. The Grand Prix will be awarded during the ceremony.

UWC Dilijan College is the only educational institution in the CIS certified by BREEAM sustainable building standards. The school was also awarded IGRA Green Roof Leadership Award 2015 in “Trendsetting Architecture” category.

International Property Awards was established in 1995. It is presently one of the most reputable international awards in residential, social and commercial property and is highly assessed by professionals around the world. The jury consists of around 70 international experts. It is awarded in Architecture, Interior Design, Development and Agents & Consultants categories each of which is divided into subcategories. 
UWC Dilijan College is the joint project of philanthropists Ruben Vardanyan and Veronika Zonabend and their partners – individuals and organizations – which is carried out by IDeA (Initiatives for Development of Armenia) Foundation.

The construction of the College was carried out by Camp Ventures CJSC (Armenia) – project originator, Tim Flynn Architects (London) – chief architect of the project, RD Group Holding (Russia) – general designer and general contractor for the project. 
UWC Dilijan College is a full member of United World Colleges (UWC) educational movement and has been accredited by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) to deliver its IB Diploma Program.
