YEREVAN, JULY 27, ARMENPRESS.  The Prime Minister of Armenia - Hovik Abrahamyan - attended the 2015 European Youth Olympic Festival opening ceremony on July 26, during his working visit to the Republic of Georgia. As Armenpress was informed by Information and Public Relations Department of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, previously the PM visited the Olympic village, met with the delegation representing Armenia at the 2015 European Youth Olympic Festival.

The PM said, during his meeting with the Armenian delegation:

“I am very happy for this meeting and I have come personally to wish you good luck and victory. At the same time, I would like to take the opportunity and learn what problems you face and how I can help you. ”

The Armenian athletes noted that Hovik Abrahamyan’s presence is very important and inspiring for them, and that they’ll do their best to win medals.

Delegations from 49 countries participate in the sports festival. The festival is held once in 2 years. This year it will be held from July 26 till August 1. 22 athletes represent Armenia.
