YEREVAN, JULY 23, ARMENPRESS. Armenpress reports that the Government of the Republic of Armenia made amendments to the decisions referring the list of the measures ensuring the implementation of the Law on “Social Security of Soldiers and their Family Members”.

According to the list, submitted by government bodies defined by the legislation of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, a lump sum of 2 million AMD of state mandatory insurance is paid to those who died or were eliminated during the Republic of Armenia defense combat duties, special operations, and 1 million AMD of state mandatory insurance is paid to those who died or were eliminated during military service of the Republic of Armenia.

Paying lump sums of state mandatory insurance to the disabled soldiers  by the suggested amount will require 48.000.000 AMD yearly, instead of the currently established 43.680.000 AMD. An additional sum of 4.320.000 AMD will be required.

In case of the suggested changes an additional sum of 94.000.000 AMD will be required yearly instead of the currently established 64.610.000 AMD. The required overall sum is 29.390.000 AMD.
