STEPANAKERT, JULY 23, ARMENPRESS: In Baku the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group should raise the issue of the tension on the Karabakh-Azerbaijan line of contact and express a position on the events taking place on the border. David Babayan, the Spokesperson of the President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, told Armenpress that Stepanakert has only one appeal to both the Co-Chairs and the international community: the Azerbaijani side should understand that its actions are not unpunishable.

“The international community should express a strict position on Azerbaijan’s provocations. Artsakh has always responded and continues responding to any provocations. We will prevent the aggression of the enemy, though the international community as well should demonstrate its position. If it does not do it, the impunity will more encourage the aggressor”, - said Babayan.

Touching upon the sharp escalation of the tension on the border during the recent days, the Spokesperson of the President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic stated that in Artsakh they do not consider it to be a strange development, as they know the neighbor state quite well.
