YEREVAN, JULY 21, ARMENPRESS. The newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany Matias Kisler delivered his credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on July 21.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the Department of Public Relations and Mass Media, the President congratulated Ambassador Kisler and wished him success during his diplomatic mission in our country, emphasizing that there is a solid foundation and good preconditions for that.

Serzh Sargsyan mentioned with satisfaction that looking back at Armenian-German intergovernmental relations of more than 20 years, it can be confirmed that the relations have been on a rise.

The President of the Republic expressed gratitude for the continuous support by the German government aimed to the development of Armenia.  Except political and economic relations, the interlocutors mutually spotlighted cooperation in cultural, scientific, military and in a number of other aspects.
