YEREVAN, JULY 21, ARMENPRESS:  The main problem of the people with disabilities is to be integrated into the society. Thus, parallel to the programs, directed to the social security, an environment should be created, where the disabled could fully use their abilities and possibilities.

Armenpress reports that the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Artem Asatryan stated about it at the meeting with the journalists during the session of the National Commission for Disabled Persons’ Affairs, held on July 21.

“Much work has been done during the recent period. In particular, a transition to the systemic issues solution was made, and a new approach was adopted, according to which, accessibility of the environment should be a mandatory requirement that applies to all the programs, implemented in all the sectors”, - stated the Minister, adding that any building in the Republic should be made comfortable for the people with disabilities.
