Armenia’s Economy Minister presents current state of economic development to Japanese 
Ambassador

YEREVAN, JULY 18, ARMENPRESS: The Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Karen Chshmarityan on July 17 hosted the newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Armenia Eiji Taguchi. The meeting was attended also by the First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Garegin Melkonyan.

The press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that Karen Chshmarityan congratulated the Ambassador on the appointment and expressed hope that the work of the newly-open Japanese Embassy in Yerevan will contribute to the deepening of the Armenian-Japanese relations in different sectors of the economy and the expansion of the cooperation.

The Ambassador Taguchi thanked for the congratulation and good wishes and assured that he will spare no efforts to deepen the cooperation between the two countries.

On the request of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Armenia Eiji Taguchi, the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Karen Chshmarityan presented the current state of the economic development of Armenia, the economic development strategy and the key directions of the industrial policy.
