YEREVAN, JULY 7, ARMENPRESS. The plan for medium-term government expenditure of 2016-2018 has been submitted to the ratification of the Government of Armenia. As reports “Armenpress”, it is included in the agenda of the Government session on July 8.

According to the plan, it is expected 1 percent economic rise for 2015, and the real GDP annual rise for 2016-2018 will be respectively 2.0, 3.5, and 4 percent. As reports “Armenpress”, it is said in the draft proposition, “Tendencies for economic growth, economic characteristics, expectations and analysis about the global economy done by international organizations, as well as the directions of medium-term public policies introduces by ministries served as basis for the medium-term predictions”.

At the end of 2015 a real rise of about 4.5 percent in agriculture is expected. It is expected that during 2016-2018 the average rise of the sphere will stabilize at about 4.5 percent.

Simultaneously, rise in exports and decrease in imports is expected. In 2015 the real rise in exports is expected to be at 6.5 percent. Given the membership in the Eurasian Economic Union, developments in the global economy, which will result in the rise of external demand for  the products of our economy, it is expected an average real rise of 2.1 percent in exports and 0.1 percent in imports during 2016-2018.
