YEREVAN, JULY 7, ARMENPRESS. The issue of the Armenian Genocide is in the spotlight of politics, international media and academic community of the world. “The issue of the Armenian Genocide is no longer limited within the circles of Armenian knowledges, but is one of the main topics of international academic community and genocide research, about which people speak and do research”. As reports “Armenpress”, the opinion was given during the press-conference dedicated to the 12th conference of international genocide scholars by the director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Hayk Demoyan.

130 specialists will arrive in Armenia from different parts of the world, from Australia and Japan to Brazil and Argentine, to participate in the international conference held in Yerevan from July 8-12.

“The united voice of the scholars exploring genocides can make a change in the process of better education of the Armenian Genocide”. Added an American Armenian writer, poet Peter  Balakian, who also takes part in the conference in Yerevan.
