Jazz concert dedicated to anniversary of Armenian Genocide takes place in Marseille
14:08, 7 July 2015YEREVAN, JULY 7, ARMENPRESS. A jazz concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide took place in Marseille. As Armenpress was informed by the Public Relations and Information Department of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of the Republic of Armenia, the concert took place on July 3. Famous musician-composer Andre Manukyan’s jazz band and duduk-player Levon Minasyan took part in the concert. During the opening speech member of the National Assembly of France Valérie Boyer criticized Turkey’s policy of negation as regards the issue of the Armenian Genocide. She mentioned that their municipality declared July 3 as Armenia’s Day.
