YEREVAN, JULY 7, ARMENPRESS: The European Games held in Baku raised the reputation of our country in the European and international Olympic families. Armenpress reports that the President of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia Hrachya Rostomyan stated about it during the meeting with the journalists.

“When we were deciding to take part in the European Games, the National Olympic Committee of Armenia took on the responsibility. We have obtained a great reputation and now have a large army of supporters. Nobody was happy to go to Baku, but the Games proved that the agreement, we had with the international organizations, worked. In Baku we saw all the guarantees, which had been given. Thanks to the European Olympic Committee and the International Olympic Committee. The National Olympic Committee of Armenia can take on the responsibility and we have justified the expectations. This step raised the reputation of our country in the European and international Olympic families”, - stated Hrachya Rostomyan.
