MOSCOW, JULY 7, ARMENPRESS: The famous Russian opera singer Ljuba Kazarnovskaya, who was declared to be persona non grata by the Azerbaijani authorities after visiting the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, announced that she is happy to be included in the list, where there is the name of the world famous opera singer Montserrat Caballé. Armenpress reports, citing Dni.ru that the singer said that she does not get sad from the fact that she would never visit Azerbaijan again.

“I am in the same list with Montserrat Caballé and I am proud of it. The Nagorno Karabakh Republic is a great place, where I took young people. I am not concerned. As long as there is aggression in the world, no peace will reign. Here, in Karabakh, people want peace with birth of children and without war”, - the website of the radio station “Русская служба новостей” cites the words of the singer.

Earlier the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan made a statement on July 6 that the name of the Russian opera singer Ljuba Kazarnovskaya, who had visited the Nagorno Karabakh Republic without their agreement, will be included in the list of persona non grata of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan. Last week the opera singer, pedagogue Kazarnovskaya visited Stepanakert and conducted a class in the local musical school. This was not her first visit to Artsakh. Last autumn Kazarnovskaya had come to Artsakh and visited Stepanakert and Shushi. The blacklist of foreigners who are banned to enter Azerbaijan includes individuals who visit the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh without making an agreement with the authorities of Azerbaijan. This list enlarges year by year. World famous artists, intellectuals, and politicians are included in the list.
