Moscow court extends Levon Hayrapetyan’s house arrest period

YEREVAN, JULY 3, ARMENPRESS. Moscow Municipal court extended Levon Hayrapetyan’s house arrest period on July 3. As Armenpress reports, his lawyer Ruben Margaryan informed this to “Ria Novosti”.
Hayrapetyan is charged for participation in the “Bashneft” sale by Ural Rakhimov to AFK “Sistema” company's constructions in April 2009. Hayrapetyan is also accused of money laundering. According to the court, Levon Hayrapetyan appropriated an amount of $ 700,000 from the former Senator Igor Izmestev. Investigation on that case is already over. Judge Pavel Milekhin said that the court decided to extend Levon Hayrapetyan’s house arrest period till September 15.
