Russia allocates military supply funding loan to Armenia

YEREVAN, JULY 2, ARMENPRESS: The Russian Federation will allocate a 200 million USD loan with privileged conditions to Armenia for the financing of the military supply of Russian production. The Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Ara Nazaryan presented at the discussion of the National Assembly the agreement on “Allocation of state export loan to the Government of the Republic of Armenia”, signed on June 26 2015 in Yerevan between the governments of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia.
“The agreement defines that the state export loan is provided with the term of 13 years, during the first three years of which with privileged conditions, 3% interest rate. The Republic of Armenia will co-finance in the framework of the agreement with 10% of the agreement value with advance payments”, - stated Nazaryan, Armenpress reports.
