YEREVAN, JULY 1, ARMENPRESS. On July 1, the minister of defense of Armenia, Seyran Ohanyan, met with Nick Gir, the security policy director at the Ministry of Defense of the UK, who was accompanied by Catherine Leach, the UK ambassador to Armenia. The parties discussed issues of cooperation between Armenian and the UK, and between Armenia and the NATO, sources from the office of information and relations with the public told Armenpress. Seyran Ohanyan presented his view on cooperation, adding that he expects dynamic developments in this field.

The British side stressed that the UK will continue bilateral and multilateral cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of Armenia within the framework of existing and future projects.

 The parties also discussed issues of regional security.
