International organizations rushed to clarify Armenia's economic growth forecast: Minister

YEREVAN, JUNE 30, ARMENPRESS: The international organizations rushed to clarify the forecast of the economic growth of the Republic of Armenia in the negative direction and did not evaluate the domestic potential of the country. The Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Karen Chshmarityan stated about it at the economic forum, organized by the Government of Armenia, touching upon the economic situation in the Republic.
“Certainly, there are difficulties in the region and in our partner countries, but I think that they cannot serve a ground to underestimate our domestic potential. It is right in the result of the domestic capabilities that our forecast differs from that of the international organizations. I do not want to make such an impression that we are satisfied with the current pace of the economic growth. We are not. Though I am certain that we cannot add any value in the economy with extra pessimism”, - stated Chshmarityan, Armenpress reports.
