YEREVAN, JUNE 26, ARMENPRESS. Vladimir Gasparyan - Chief of Police of Republic of Armenia -was again in Baghramyan Avenue on June 26. He approached the members of the group that initiated the struggle against electricity tariff hike and made appointements in regard to the cleaning works of the protest spot. The protestors assured that they won’t hinder the cleaning process.  

The Police Chief also had a conversation with Father Eghishe Archimandrite during which he highlighted that we are a small nation and hence our power should not be in strength and stubbornness but in wisdom. The Chief of Police also found it unacceptable to present conditions to enter a dialogue with the President. “The citizen of the country should not react to the country’s President’s call by saying “on this condition, on that condition,” Gasparyan said. He noted that the authorities are not servants but are just carrying out their service.
