YEREVAN, JUNE 25, ARMENPRESS. Azerbaijan is trying to justify the violations of human rights in its own country with the Nagorno-Karabakh issue. But those steps by Azerbaijan are doomed to failure. The discussion of the report on Azerbaijan’s democracy in PACE was one of the numerous evidences of this fact.  

As Armenpress reports, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Edward Nalbandian said that Azerbaijan’s oil-dollar policy starts causing nausea among the international society. He highlighted in his speech that an attempt is made to save the Azerbaijan’s reputation, which is decreasing day by day, by pointing out to the existence of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue. He added that the PACE resolution was an evidence of it but Azerbaijan failed there. “It is obvious that the application of Azerbaijani oil-dollars has started causing nausea and a number of competent bodies are expressing their criticism and disagreement to this approach. It is time that Azerbaijan returns from the virtual oil-dollar world to the real world. It will be useful for Azerbaijan so that [the country] does not appear in isolation from the international society,” Nalbandian noted.
