3D-printed humanoid recites Dostoyevsky-inspired poem

YEREVAN, JUNE 16, ARMENPRESS. A robot created by the InMoov company recited a poem inspired by Russian novelist Fyodor Dostoyevsky's “Crime and Punishment” in Moscow. As Armenpress reports, the literary humanoid was manufactured using 3D printers and was launched as part of an open-source volunteer project involving over 200 people around the world. All parts from the waist down are made in Russia, while the rest was created by a multitude of international engineers and scientists. The robot can be printed from any home 3D printer.

Maksim Burinkov, representative of InMoov Moscow team said, "This time, the model which stands behind me is a Russian version. Half of it is Russian-only – its legs. And its upper part is an achievement of the world community. The idea which led to this work is a legacy for mechanical descendants. We simply want to show how it could be in the future. I guess so."
