New Armenia-EU document to meet “both, and” policy

YEREVAN, MAY 29, ARMENPRESS: The format of the new cooperation document, which is being prepared with the European Union, is not clear yet, though it will be a bilaterally negotiated and ratified document. During the EU Eastern Partnership summit, the EU side showed that differentiated approaches and formats will function and there will be no general approach towards the countries. The First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Garegin Melkonyan stated about it in the talk with journalists.
“Armenia has stated for many times that it supports the “both, and” policy. In the result of it we started last year the discussions with the European Union. Though still it is not clear what document will be finally signed”, - Melkonyan stated, Armenpress reports.
