YEREVAN, MAY 29, ARMENPRESS. On May 28, Ambassador of Armenia to Egypt Armen Melkonian met Minister of Culture of Egypt Abdelwahed an-Nabawi. The Press, Information, and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia informed “Armenpress” about this.

Highlighting that culture has been and continues to be one of the important directions of the Armenian-Egyptian friendly relations the sides agreed to enlarge opportunities for participating in each other’s cultural events.

The parties also discussed perspectives of expanding the cultural cooperation and activating mutual visits and exchanges in different fields of culture. During the talk the considerable contribution of Armenian community in social and cultural life of Egypt was stressed.
