YEREVAN, MAY 29, ARMENPRESS: Armenia has the opportunity to export unique organic food to the western markets. During the last decade the organic agriculture has developed in the country and today high quality products are produced here. The General Director of the ECOGLOBE Company, implementing organic certification, Nune Darbinyan told Armenpress that since 2002 more than 50 economies have received certificates for the implementation of Eco or Bio production in Armenia.

“There are very many interesting initiatives among the companies, who got certification. For example buckthorn is produced in our country and is processed in a non-waste form. It gives everything possible, for example, juices, purée, concentrates. And the core gives oil and powder, which is also required in the markets of food and cosmetics”, - stated Nune Darbinyan.
