YEREVAN, 28 MAY, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Defense of the Artsakh Republic, Commander of the Defense Army Movses Hakobyan views the victories scored in May as the precondition for the future victories of the Armenian nation. During a press conference at the Sardarapat Memorial Complex, Movses Hakobyan mentioned that the people of Armenia and Artsakh have already proved that they can achieve victory when they fight for it.

“Today is a day of celebration. We take pride in the victory in the battle and in the establishment of the First Republic. That victory was a prerequisite for our future victories. The people of Armenia and Artsakh have proved that they can achieve victory when they fight for it,” Hakobyan mentioned, as “Armenpress” reports.

Movses Hakobyan didn’t wish to comment on Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov’s statement that only after the regulation of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict can Azerbaijan become a member of the Eurasian Economic Union. The Commander of the Defense Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic only emphasized that the people of Artsakh will solve the Karabakh issue, as they have done in the past.
