Armenian Police Head rejects assassination attempt of Surik Khachatryan to be staged

YEREVAN, MAY 28, ARMENPRESS: The Head of the Police of the Republic of Armenia Vladimir Gasparyan is certain that the assassination attempt against the Governor of Syunik Region Surik Khachatryan was not staged. The Head of the Police told the journalists in Sardarapat that a criminal case has been instituted on the case and the preliminary investigation is in process. “I cannot say anything additional at this moment, as the preliminary investigation is still in process”, - said Vladimir Gasparyan, Armenpress reports.
