Samuel Sevian shares 2nd-9th places in Chicago Open

YEREVAN, MAY 27, ARMENPRESS: The youngest grand master of the United States of America Samuel Sevian had no defeat in the Chicago open. Sevian scored 6,5 points out of 9 and shared 2nd-9th places together with GMs Kamsky, Naroditsky (USA), Nyzhnyk (Ukraine), Azarov (Belarus), V. Georgiev (Macedonia), Dobrov (Russia) and FM Rosen (USA) at the open that was held in Chicago and which had 113 participants.
The Armenian Chess Federation informed Armenpress that Sevian was only half a point behind the winner – IM Jeffery Xiong (USA).
