Armenian government planning on privatizing HayPost CJSC
19:54, 26 May 2015YEREVAN, 26 MAY, ARMENPRESS. The Government of the Republic of Armenia is planning on privatizing HayPost CJSC. As “Armenpress” reports, the draft of the government decision is included in the agenda for the May 27 session of the Government of the Republic of Armenia. The draft envisages including HayPost in List N 1 “Of Companies with State Shares, Proposed for Privatization in 2006-2007”, which is a part of Law HO-124-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia of 31 May 2006 “On the 2006-07 Plan for Privatization of State Property”.
The sole shareholder of the company is the Republic of Armenia, namely the Ministry of Transport and Communication of the Republic of Armenia. It is expected that the privatization of HayPost will contribute to the engagement of private investments, the increase in cash flows and the modernization of the company.
