Armenia is interested in deepening cooperation with the Czech Republic: Armenian PM

YEREVAN, 25 MAY, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Armenia Petr Mikyska. As the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Government of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, the Prime Minister congratulated Mr. Mikyska on his appointment and expressed certainty that the Ambassador would bring a new sweep to further development and deepening of political and economic relations between the two countries through his efforts.

 Hovik Abrahamyan emphasized that Armenia was interested in deepening cooperation with the Czech Republic in different sectors, including the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian sectors. According to the head of government, the two counties have great potential for the deepening of cooperation in trade and economy. The head of government also praised the role of the Czech Republic in the development of Armenia-European Union relations and expressed gratitude to the Czech Republic for the support that it has shown to Armenia through the EU Eastern Partnership.

According to Ambassador Mikyska, the Czech Republic attaches great importance to the development of interstate relations and the deepening of trade and economic relations with Armenia and voiced confidence that there are great opportunities to increase trade turnover and engage investments.
