YEREVAN, 25 MAY, ARMENPRESS. One of the key objectives of the Republic of Armenia is to ensure the country’s security, which is impossible without cooperation with the countries in the region. This is what Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan mentioned during a press conference at the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia when asked whether Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union had helped raise the country’s level of security or not.

 “Being located in this region, Armenia can’t properly ensure security, if it doesn’t cooperate with the countries in the region and great powers, which are also Armenia’s strategic allies,” Ohanyan emphasized, as “Armenpress” reports.
