YEREVAN, 25 MAY, ARMENPRESS. On May 25, President Serzh Sargsyan paid a working visit to Aragatsotn and Shirak Provinces. As the Department of Public Relations and Mass Media of the Structure to the Office of the President of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, in Aragatsotn Province the President attended the opening ceremony of the kindergarten in Sasunik village. The President toured the newly opened kindergarten, was introduced to the activities that had been carried out and the conditions created for the children. With a population of 4,000, Sasunik village hadn’t had a new kindergarten building since 1998. The new building was built through an investment from the village and under the patronage of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund’s UK local chapter. The project was launched in November 2013 and ended in May 2015. During the tour, the President was told that the new two-story building would receive 110 children to fully meet the demands of the community. The nearby area looks better as well.

 On the occasion of the opening of the kindergarten, leader of Sasunik village Arman Margaryan granted the certificate of the title of honorary resident of Sasunik to chairman of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund’s UK local chapter Armine Karapet.

 The President of the Republic of Armenia also visited the furbished and fully renovated art school for children in Talin, was introduced to the work that had been done and the conditions.

 In the schoolyard, the President participated in the unveiling of a cross-stone that one of the teachers and the children had prepared in commemoration of the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide.

 President Serzh Sargsyan left Aragatsotn Province for Shirak Province where he took part in the opening ceremony of the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies. In the beginning of the tour, the President of the Republic attended the presentation of TUMO, toured the Center and met with the children of Gyumri shown in the video clips for Shant TV’s marathon.

 In Gyumri President Serzh Sargsyan also attended the opening ceremony of the newly built D-Link International research center.

During the working visit, the head of state also visited Anusharan Company where he was introduced to the activities of the pastry-producing company, as well as the variety of products and development programs.
