GAVAR, 23 MAY, ARMENPRESS. On May 22, at the initiative of the administration of the Hrachya Buniatyan Gallery of Gavar city and with the financial support of Gavar Municipality, 15 students of the Art Department of the art school of Gavar and members of the Center for Children’s Creations and the Student Center visited the National Gallery of Armenia. As press secretary of Gavar Municipality Alvard Manukyan reports to “Armenpress”, at the National Gallery, the children were introduced to the life and works of famous seascape painter Ivan Aivazovsky and viewed his internationally famous paintings. The children also visited the Armenian Department of the Gallery and the exhibition showcasing testimonies that presented the Armenian Genocide of 1915.

 The employees of the National Gallery of Armenia hosted a master class for the children at Hakob Gyurjinyan Hall and mentioned that there were great perspectives for the development of the young painters of Gavar in the field of arts.
