YEREVAN, 22 MAY, ARMENPRESS. In the declaration adopted based on the results of the Eastern Partnership summit in Riga the participants expressed their full support to the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group for the regulation of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. As “Armenpress” reports, this is mentioned in the final text of the declaration: “The participants of the summit emphasize the need for a speedy, peaceful regulation of conflicts in the region based on the norms and principles of international law. The regulation of conflicts, the building of confidence and friendly relations between neighboring countries are important from the perspective of social and economic development and cooperation. The participants of the summit welcome the contributions that the EU has made to the spread of stability and confidence-building, as well as emphasize the need for wider involvement of the EU in this sector in the future,” as stated in the text of the declaration, emphasizing that the participants of the summit support the statements that have been made at the level of the presidents since 2009.
