Armenia's international reserves increased by over $2 million

YEREVAN, MAY 22, ARMENPRESS: By the end of the first trimester of 2015 the gross international foreign reserves of the Republic of Armenia totaled to 1 billion 491 million 694,25 thousand dollars. Armenpress reports that in comparison with the beginning of the trimester, the indicator has grown by 2 million 250,6 thousand dollars.
According to the data, provided by the Central Bank of Armenia, the freely convertible foreign currency assets amounted to 1 million 495,1 thousand dollars. The special drawing rights at the International Monetary Fund made 0,7 million dollars.
In 2014 Armenia's gross external reserves dropped by nearly 762 million 170 thousand dollars or 33,8 percent, to 1 million 489,3 thousand dollars.
