YEREVAN, MAY 6, ARMENPRESS. On May 6, the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia moderated by Hovhannes Sahakyan in the second reading debated the draft law “On Amending the RA Civil Procedure Code” with enclosed package.

The Information and Public Relations Department of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia informed “Armenpress” that the  First Deputy Minister of Justice Arsen Mkrtchyan has noted that almost all the recommendations submitted by the Committee, certain editorial works have been done, as well as some articles have been separated.

The legislative package “On Amending the RA Criminal Code” and “On Amending the RA Criminal Procedure Code” submitted by the Government was debated in the first reading, which the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Arman Tatoyan presented.

The Minister of Justice Hovhannes Manukyan noted that the Government was ready to jointly debate with the members of the Committee members all the concerns and recommendations, and the Committee Chairman assured that through the working group working discussions would be organized in future.

The legislative packages with the endorsement of the Committee were included in the agenda of the NA extraordinary sitting convened on May 5.
