YEREVAN, 5 MAY, ARMENPRESS. On May 5, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians by pontifical visit has left for Washington (United States) to participate in the commemorative ceremonies of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. As "Armenpress" was informed by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations, during visit His Holiness will bless the Diocesan-parliamentary annual meeting of the Eastern Diocese of United States.

Catholicos of All Armenian accompanied by His Grace Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan the Vicar of Ararat Patriarchal Diocese, the Chancellor of the Holy See His Grace Bishop Arshak Khachatryan, staff-bearer Rev. Fr. Anania Tsaturyan, the secretary of Catholicate’s office Father Khoren Kirakosyan and the Holy See's benefactor Mr. Gabriel Jambarjyan.
