The process of Armenian Genocide recognition is an ongoing process: Vigen Sargsyan

YEREVAN, 4 MAY, ARMENPRESS. Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Armenia, coordinator of the events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide Vigen Sargsyan considers the process of international recognition of the Armenian Genocide an ongoing process. This is what Vigen Sargsyan emphasized during a press conference. According to “Armenpress”, when asked if he could set aside the major outcome that Armenia achieved after the events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide, Vigen Sargsyan mentioned: “It’s hard to set aside an outcome because all civil societies or foreign presses were represented at the highest level. You heard the most famous TV hosts, heads of state and political figures who talked about the four ideas for the commemoration of the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide.”

He attached importance to not only the speeches by heads of states who were in Yerevan, but also the speeches by heads of states who preferred to participate in the events organized by the Armenian communities in the respective countries or organize events, as well as the parliaments that reflected on the issue. “These are all outcomes. It’s hard to set any one aside,” Vigen Sargsyan noted.
