YEREVAN, 1 MAY, ARMENPRESS. The Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Gabriel Ghazaryan and the Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan attended the opening ceremony of the “Armenian Diaspora CUP” tennis tournament of the Representative Office in Moscow of the Yerevan’ Mayor Cup.

It is the 10th anniversary of the tournament and it is the first time it will be held in Yerevan. The Representation of Yerevan’s Mayor in Moscow is the organizer of “Armenian Diaspora CUP” tournament.  As “Armenpress” reports, the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs stated this.

Holding the 10th tournament in Yerevan, the organizers aimed to provide opportunity to the participants to register victories in their favorite sport, particularly in their fatherland. By total number, 44 adults and 15 young athletes from Yerevan and Moscow will participate in the tournament.
