Karabakh eco-toys in different parts of the world

YEREVAN, APRIL 28, ARMENPRESS: The first wooden toys of Armenian production are produced in the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, though they have already spread from Australia to Brazil and the USA. The brand of the wooden toys Woodpeckers was established in 2014 by the Artsakh dweller Ashot Margaryan. The wooden toys, with their unique design and high quality, in a short period of time managed to gain popularity and interest even among the foreign buyers.
The responsible for the toys’ production David Khachatryan told Armenpress that the Woodpeckers toys are designed by children for children. “The children of Artsakh take part in the design of each new toy, select a color and then we paint them together. The ready project is given to individual specialists, who prepare the toys. In the final stage we collect them in Stepanakert, the capital of Karabakh, and pack”, - said Khachatryan.
