Successful samples of Armenian production from Made in Armenia expo

YEREVAN, APRIL 27, ARMENPRESS: The exhibition Made in Armenia, representing nearly all the sectors of the economy of the Republic of Armenia, showed the public how diverse the local production is. In the exhibition, open in the Meridian Expo Center, attended by about 300 local producers, one may see both old and successful and new and interesting productions.
Sapphire growing technology is hardly known in the world, though the Armenian producer has found the method, with which it is possible to get a sapphire with a weight of up to 85 kilograms.
The Director of Astra Crystals Company Garun Davtyan told Armenpress that the production of sapphire requires high technologies and quite a complicated process. “Its production is very complicated, as we deal with high technologies. The growing process is implemented under 2050 degree and the change of even 1 degree may hinder the production.
