Sweden's deputy parliamentary speaker attached importance to development of Swedish- Armenian parliamentary cooperation
18:00, 25 April 2015YEREVAN, 25 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. On April 25, Speaker of the National Assembly Galust Sahakyan received Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Sweden Esabelle Dingizian.
As the Department of Public Relations and Mass Media of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia mentioned that he was impressed with Dingizian’s influential speech at the “Against the Crime of Genocide” global forum.
Esabelle Dingizian mentioned that it was a great honor for her to be in Yerevan on these days and to participate in the events dedicated to the Armenian Genocide Centennial. Talking about the Swedish-Armenian community, Dingizian attached importance to the role of the Armenian embassy and expressed the desire to strengthen Armenian-Swedish parliamentary relations. Dingizian also mentioned that she would carry out activities for the development and reinforcement of cooperation between the two parliaments.
