Eifel Tower and Coliseum go dark to mark Armenian Genocide

YEREVAN, APRIL 25, ARMENPRESS: In Rome and Paris the Coliseum and Eifel Tower went dark on April 24 for 15 minutes. Armenpress reports that the monuments went dark to mark the Armenian Genocide centennial. Anne Hidalgo, the Mayor of Paris, adopted the decision to turn off the lights of the Eifel Tower.

With this initiative the authorities of Paris and Rome wanted to support the Armenians once more. The lights of the monuments were turned off at 22:00 to 22:15 Yerevan time.

Different international media stated that Europe was with Armenia at that moment.
