Musicians of 43 countries sent message to world for justice by their performances

YEREVAN, 25 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. The "24/04" orchestra consisted of 123 musicians from 43 countries sent a message to the world for justice, proving that the Armenian nation was reborn after the horrors of the Genocide. At the evening of April 24, a fantastic concert titled "Renaissance" was held in the Alexander Spendiaryan Opera and Ballet National Academic Theatre dedicated to the memory of the Armenian Genocide innocent victims. As “Armenpress” reports, the full hall enthusiastically liked any work.

The concert consisted of 4 parts, during which the works of Aram Khachaturian, Edgar Hovhannisyan, Ghazaros Saryan, Alexander Harutyunyan, Makar Yekmalian, Avet Terteryan, Edward Mirzoyan and others were performed. The concert was directed by conductors Sergey Smbatyan, Hovhannes Chekijyan, Gianluca Marchianon, Michael Yurovski, who with the orchestra granted indescribable moments to the attendees.

During concert, the renowned conductor, maestro of All Armenians Hovhannes Chekijyan noted, that as the children of the first Christian state, we knew the mystery of the bearing the cross and raising on it.

"Everything was done to break the life and eliminate this race from this world. The Genocide is also cultural genocide, in other word the destruction of the nation culturally. The national tragedy did not break us, it carved, strengthened and raised us. The Christian moral is consolidated more and more. Noah forefather's ark stopped on the peak of Mount Ararat and it became a symbol of the humanity's salvation. Bow before that Holy Mountain and say, God bless us," the maestro of all Armenians said.
