State Duma adopts Armenian Genocide centennial statement
13:52, 24 April 2015YEREVAN, APRIL 24, ARMENPRESS: The State Duma of the Russian Federation on April 24 adopted a statement on the centennial of the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire, Armenpress reports, citing RIA Novosti.
The State Duma expresses deep condolences to the brotherly Armenia on the centennial of the Armenian Genocide, as well as other nations, who suffered due to the tragic events in the period of the World War I. The Russian Parliament believes that the complicated issues and the international disputes of the history should be settled peacefully and also diplomatically in the name of the stable peace and the security on the planet.
