YEREVAN, 15 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. Editor of Tbilisi’s Georgia newspaper and former Member of the Parliament of Georgia Van Bayburtyan (Bayburd) has been granted the honorary title of Merited Journalist of Georgia. In an interview with “Armenpress”, Van Bayburtyan talked about his longstanding career as a journalist in Georgia.

 “After graduating from the Armenian school in Tbilisi, I continued my studies in the Faculty of Journalism at Tbilisi State University. That was when I began to pursue my career in journalism. I took my first steps as a correspondent for the “Komsomolskaya Pravda” newspaper, and I consider it my major work experience,” the merited journalist said.
