YEREVAN, 13 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. On April 13, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan received Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexey Meshkov, who has arrived in Yerevan to participate in the consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs. As the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, Nalbandyan praised the effective partnership established between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Russia and Armenia, which is a component in the Armenian-Russian federal relations. The minister attached importance to the partnership within international organizations and emphasized that his visit to Moscow last week served as a good opportunity to touch upon cooperation in that sector as well.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, Alexey Meshkov touched upon the results of the consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the Russian-Armenian partnership within European structures and organizations.
