YEREVAN, 1 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. On April 1, His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia received Ambassador of Cyprus to Lebanon Homer Mavrommatis. During the meeting, the Supreme Patriarch and the Ambassador discussed the current situation in Lebanon and the events taking place in the Middle East, as posted on the official website of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia, according to “Armenpress”. His Holiness touched upon the major events that are being organized on the occasion of the Armenian Genocide Centennial in Armenia, Lebanon and in different Armenian communities of the Armenian Diaspora.

 Homer Mavrommatis conveyed his government’s support to the Supreme Patriarch to the Armenian people’s just cause and informed that the Cypriot government will actively participate in the events dedicated to the centennial.
